Cathy's Journey

Being a mom of a large family (if you consider 5 kids large - lol), many people comment that I don't look like I have had 5 kids.  Gosh!  I wonder what people envision when they think of a mom with 5 young children.  Harried?  Exhausted?  Overweight?  Frumpy? 

I don't want to be any of those things.

So my goal is to take care of myself and be healthy. 

My ultimate goal is to fit into my jeans again!  Not that I often wear jeans, but I would love to turn my jeans into some funky skirts! 

So in order to hold ourselves accountable, we are putting our journey's out here, to enspire other's to take the journey with us.

We are using a dietary change and exercise.  For exercise, our goal is to do 20-30 minutes of cardio at least 5 times a week.  Hopefully we can make some changes!  We will update weekly here!

To date now I have lost 10 lbs, almost 2 points off my BMI and 19.5 inches since the beginning of February!  Yay!!!  Now to get pregnant and ruin it all lol!
